Time Flies!
This exhibit was about the regulation of sleep cycles in fruit flies. Really. The left side of the exhibit displayed actual fruit flies, and the right side contained an activity concerning the construction of a sleep-regulating protein. Details in the slide shows below. When the activity was over, the pucks would be automatically ejected from the slots. But the problem was that the pucks would land just below the corresponding slot, giving away the answer. Originally, the pucks were supposed to fall through a gap into the cabinet below, but someone decided to use it for storage instead. Yeah, well, there you go.
