The point of this display is that blurry vision is the result of the retina not being in the focal plane of the image the eye is developing.
Here, vision is blurry because the retina is behind the image, and the lens that is selected is not adjusting the image properly.
But here - even though retina is in a position that would, without glasses, be in front of the focused image - the image is clear because a proper lens is selected.
