Planetarium Queue

Here are three interactive displays I made for the Planetarium Queue at the Maryland Science Center. They are fairly self explanatory from the images. The first two displays allow visitors to place pucks in slots to arrange the planets in either 1) distance from the sun or 2) in order of size. The final display allows visitors to position the large wheels so that the correct planet lines up with the correct moon. The gadgets that made these displays function were fairly complicated. A somewhat extensive technical treatment can be seen here.

The goal here is to line up the planets according to distance from the Sun.

Really simple: pick a planet, match the moon.
